1. Agreement to Terms

By hiring equipment from Signal Co, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not proceed with your booking.

2. Equipment Hire

2.1 Booking

All bookings are subject to equipment availability. A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from Signal Co.

2.2 Payment

Payment terms will be outlined in your booking confirmation. A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

2.3 Cancellation

Cancellation policies will be specified at the time of booking. Late cancellations may incur fees.

3. Equipment Care

3.1 Responsibility

You are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all hired equipment from the time of collection or delivery until its return.

3.2 Damage or Loss

You will be liable for any damage to or loss of equipment while in your possession. This includes damage caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow operating instructions.

3.3 Prohibited Actions

You must not:

  • Sub-hire or lend the equipment to any third party
  • Modify, alter, or attempt to repair the equipment
  • Use the equipment for any unlawful purpose
  • Remove any labels, tags, or identification from the equipment

4. Delivery and Collection

Delivery and collection arrangements will be confirmed at the time of booking. You must ensure suitable access and conditions for equipment delivery and setup.

5. Limitation of Liability

Signal Co will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our equipment. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the hire.

6. Weather and External Factors

For outdoor events, you are responsible for ensuring appropriate weather protection for the equipment. Signal Co is not responsible for event cancellations or modifications due to weather or other external factors.

7. Insurance

We recommend that you have appropriate event insurance to cover any potential issues. Signal Co maintains insurance for our equipment, but this does not cover damage or loss while in your possession.

8. Force Majeure

Signal Co shall not be liable for any failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New Zealand.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
